The car was completed in 2012 and incurred damage from an engine fire in 2013, at which time the louvered decklid was replaced and the car was partially repainted by Vintage Speedsters. The fiberglass body is finished in Fjord Green (Porsche #5705) and is fitted over a Volkswagen Beetle pan. Work in September 2022 included cleaning the twin downdraft carburetors, repairing the shift linkage, changing the oil, and replacing the tires, fuel filter, and turn signal relay. Equipment includes a tan convertible top, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a heater, a polished four-into-one exhaust system, a louvered decklid, a battery cutoff key, an aftermarket stereo with Kenwood speakers, disc brakes, and 15″ steel wheels.
